Lets see: I went to work today, when booked it to the bus to get to Dundurn castle. Upon getting there, I took a seat up on a hill with a friend and someone else, where we watched them shoot.
Majority of the crew were geeking out over my tattoos.
After the shoot Guillermo Del Toro pointed to us and signaled to come over. We looked around trying to figure if he was signaling to us. We st…ood and cautiously approached when he signaled again. We were then intercepted by crew who were like “Stay back” and then Del Toro gave us the stay signal, to which he and Charlie Hunnam came to us.
I shook his hand which is when Charlie started to freak over the tattoo, he said it was awesome and said I needed a highfive for it…so I got a highfive. I then said “Oh, it’s your birthday right? Happy birthday! Have this gipsy danger pin!” and he took it and attempted to put it on with gloves before pocketing it. Del Toro then said we should get a photo with him and of course, who wouldn’t! This was followed by some crew guy telling him we can’t take photos because of the costume…..SO someone else took Charlies hat and thew a coat over him. Thus we got photos.
Then I got Del Toro to sign his book (He was sad when I said I was going to bring Cronos and Devils Backbone but I wasn’t sure if I was even going to see him!), and I Charlie to be signature 4 in my pacific rim art book.
I think as a group we all talked to him for about 20 minuets or so.
We came back to the graveyard scene and watched some more. This was also where more crew members geeking out over the tattoo. One of which ended up giving me some of the Orchids from the set. (I’m still in o.O;;; mode…apparently my face was priceless….)
Then it started to rain and they cleared the set. As Charlies car drove by he totally waved from the car.
All in all….GOOD BLOODY DAY!
